With the regular season ending yesterday the firing squad was out in full force today. 3 coaches were let go from their teams two of them I am sure isn’t a real surprise to anyone but the last one blew me away for sure. The first two are Romeo Crennel whose Cleveland Browns ended their season with a record of 4-12 while the Detroit Lions season ended horribly at 0-16 fired their coach Rob Marinelli.

The shocker was the fact that the New York Jets fired Eric Mangini. They had a great start this season at 8-3 but had a dismal slide at 1-4 in their last 5 games. This is the second time they have failed to make the playoffs in his 3 years in New York. I wonder if this will have any impact on whether Brett Farve decides to return or not

Even though his coaching days are over in New York I am sure this isn’t the last of him we will see in the NFL hey we know at least 2 teams who are looking for head coaches right lol
